Package Includes

• 2 doses of shingles vaccine

Who should get vaccinated:

The current recommended target groups in Malaysia are:

• Adults 50 years and above
• Adults 18 years and above with weakened immune system

Who will it benefit:

• Older adults over the age of 50
• Patients with chronic comorbidities (diabetes,hypertension,kidney disease,cancer and etc)
• Patients on chemotherapy, or immunosuppressants
• Individuals with previous shingles episodes(this vaccine reduces recurrence)

Terms and Conditions

1. This package is only applicable for adults aged 18 years and above.
2. Applicable to self-paying patients, excluding reimbursement claims. 
3. This vaccine is NOT recommended for pregnant women.
4. The package includes 2 doses, which must be completed within the period of two(2) to six(6) months from the first injection.
5. The package is inclusive of pre-vaccination assessment by a doctor and the injection fee.
6. Vaccination is subject to medical screening and assessment by the attending healthcare professional.
7. The hospital reserves the right to defer or decline vaccination if individual deemed medically unsuitable.
8. The package is valid until 30 September 2026.
9. This package is subject to applicable government taxes.
10. The package is valid for use only at Sunway Medical Centre Penang’s Health Screening Centre, Level 2, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, and Saturday, 8:30am–1:00pm.
