Sunway Medical Centre Penang invites you to join our Blood Donation Drive and make a life-saving difference. Every drop counts, and your donation can help patients in need of blood for surgery, accidents, cancer treatments, and other critical medical conditions.

By taking part, you are giving hope to someone’s tomorrow.

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Venue: Main Lobby, Sunway Medical Centre Penang

Why Donate Blood?

Donating blood is a simple act of kindness that has a huge impact. Just one donation can save up to three lives. It also:

• Helps maintain adequate blood supply for emergencies

• Supports patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, or accident recovery

• Contributes to the community’s health and well-being

Criteria for Blood Donation

To ensure safe donation, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be in good health

• Aged 17 – 60 years old

• Weigh at least 45 kg

• Minimum 3 months interval from your last donation

• Non-Malaysians: Resided in Malaysia for at least 1 year

• Not involved in a high-risk lifestyle

Blood Donation Checklist

Before donating, please ensure that you:

• Get at least 5 hours of sleep

• Eat a meal before your donation

• Are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or menstruating (Day 1–3)

• Bring your IC or passport
